Brown shrimps on toast

This is quick and simple to make, perfect as a starter or a lazy weekend brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 knob of unsalted butter
  • 200 g brown shrimps, from sustainable sources
  • 100 ml cider
  • 2-4 slices of bread

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and add the shrimps.
  2. Pour in the cider and bring to the boil, then turn down the heat and simmer for 3 minutes, or until the cider has reduced. Season with pepper.
  3. Toast your bread, then top with the shrimps.
